Why do Republicans turn anything good for people into a negative?

by admin on January 8, 2010

A Community Organizer can do anything from setting up a food bank a health clinic for the poor. Why do Republicans think this is a bad thing? Anything that is good for poor people, Republicans put a negative spin on it.

It was used in a negative why by Palin because at the time she was being criticized for being a small town mayor. She then used her line in her speech comparing small town mayors to community organizers (with responsibility).

Was she wrong – just as much as the democrats were for mocking her experience.

Kinda like how liberals say being a veteran makes your pro war.

I don’t see that as a negative, so I simply don’t understand the question ( I am a Republican)
I also see being a pastor as a positive, but that would hardly qualify him to be the president or the pope.

Or create political divisiveness, civil disobedience, and promote racial tensions.

Never said that being a Community Organizer was a bad thing. Said that it does not make you qualified to be a President. Obama includes his years as a Community Leader as reasons he is qualified to be President. Second point for the negative is that while Obama was a Community Leader, he pushed for socialistic programs. Do not want a President who proudly claimed to have accomplished socialistic programs while a Community Leader.

Those wacko religious fundies lead the country in charitable organizations and the people they help are those ’small town’ clingy bigoted Americans who serve in the ‘illegal’ war and are dangerous ‘jingos’ because they wave their country’s flag. Why are Democrats so nasty?

Because the number one tactic they use is spreading fear and lies.

The thing is about community organizers, is that most espouse leftist rhetoric and favor the redistribution of wealth, hence they are closet socialists.

Nothing negative about it, just truth.

Al Sharpton, Al Capone, Jesse Jackson, Charles Manson: all were community organizers. Just because you are one does not make it good.

Anything that is good for poor people Republicans put a negative spin on it? How about poor people staying in school, not getting pregnant before they graduate hs., working at a job, any job. Yeah, these are just some of the things that will help poor people get out of poverty. Yet they are disparaged by the left. Why? Because then nobody would need the left to ‘organize the community’.
