Even though only 60 people showed up for the PUMA Conference in Washington, people still think that disaffected Hillary Clinton supporters will vote for John McCain.

Naturally, they wouldn’t do that unless they like something about John McCain’s policies. (If they just ignored his policies and voted for him to spite Obama, that would be self-evidently irrational.)

So what do John McCain and Hillary Clinton agree on, in terms of policies for the future of the United States?

John McCain has changed his stance on the tax cuts, on more than one occassion.
He was once dead set against them.
Then he was for some of them but not all of them.
Now he is all for them.

How will he feel about them next week.
Dina W – you do have a point about the spending and tax increase for people making 32K but McCain went around the country against all these tax cuts when they were first purposed, and now is entirely in favor of them. He is an any way the wind blows candidate.

If he dies, would Mike Huckabee get the delegates or what would happen if he dies before the Republican convention (or even after, during the election?). This is in regards to John McCain, who is obviously very old.

So, is Mike Huckabee actually doing a smart thing by staying in the race, in case of the death of John McCain?

As of now Barak Obama seems to be the frontrunner with his win in Wisconsin, is he ready for the fight that is ahead of him? The media gave Barak a free ride on the issues and has let his campaign slide like butter so far. As a democrat I will never vote for Barak and am leaning towards John McCain. Should John McCain the republicans start shredding his empty rhetoric of hope and give him the spanking the media failed to do?

After seeing the first interview with Katie Couric, and now that disaster of a cleanup interview with Katie Couric, how can we even fathom the thought of putting these two nutjobs in the whitehouse to take care of America? John McCain jumped on the defense for Palin when she should have been answering the questions for herself. He didn’t have any business there anyway. How is that he can make it to Palins interview, when he lied about why he couldn’t make it to his own? Your thoughts on the subject please.
